Ivo Krankowski is a writer, director and film producer working and living between London and Warsaw. In 2019 he received his masters degree in directing for the screen at Drama Centre at Central Saint Martins. His graduation short film was The Invigilator.

His short narrative film A Memory Of Last Summer won the Best Foreign Film award at the New York International Short Film Festival in 2014. He is also known for directing the 2010 short documentary 8 Stories That Haven't Changed The World which received the Audience Award at the Jewish Motifs Intl. Film Festival and was presented in competition at the NY and UK Jewish Film Festivals among others.

Ivo produces films by visual artists through his production company LaCamera Independent.

As a performer he collaborates with artists and is a member of the London based choral collective Musarc.
